Three years ago, on 23 June 2016 the United Kingdom government asked us the question. Should we remain or do we leave the European Union ? The question was really quite simple.
The European project that our parents’ generation had signed up to, that was supposed to be about trade, has turned into a political monster that has taken away our democracy and our identity. The only people to govern Britain are the British people themselves.
We were all sent a leaflet by the Prime Minister, David Cameron, telling us how disastrous it would be if we left. We had the Chancellor at the time George Osborne telling us that half a million jobs would go immediately and what a disaster it would be if we voted to become an independent country.
The results came in and despite all the polls and all the predictions 51.9% of votes were in favour of leaving the EU, that was 17.4 million citizens who voted to leave.
The biggest political statement by the British people in our countries history !
Three and a half years on, what we have witnessed, has been a continuous campaign from the same group of people who told us whatever the referendum result they would implement it. They told us, that in the run-up to the referendum, they told us that during the referendum.
they told us that after the referendum, they told us that in the general election of 2017
and be in no doubt they have lied to us and they have betrayed our trust and betrayed the result of that referendum.
These knobheads need to be removed, and the only way is by the ballot box !
